An image-capturing software for a fully automated system

The PackshotCreator software is both user-friendly and ergonomic, and its advanced functions coordinate the entire photo-creation process, from capturing to editing digitally optimized images and animations. Years of research and innovation went into this user-friendly software so that users could be able to quickly master it. In fact, it is so intuitive that no special knowledge or training is required to use it.

After positioning your item to be photographed, you can preview it directly onscreen and determine the best angle to shoot from to capture your photos or 360-degree animations. The software controls the camera in real time and also allows you to zoom, frame and rotate your images in this mode, so that you get total and accurate control of the shots to obtain images that closely match the final results.

Once you have taken your shots, you can edit them using the PackshotCreator software and its advanced image-processing functions such as retouching, annotating, and cropping. You can also instantly print or send your shots via email, to an FTP server or to a designated folder. File management (naming, saving, organizing files by folders, etc.) is also done through the software.

You can also convert and save images and animations in various formats (JPEG, SWF, GIFF and TIFF) and choose your resolution (72, 150 or 300 dpi) depending on whether you need your images for the Web or Print. Another bonus: the PackshotCreator software is compatible with other image-processing programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Paint, Gimp, so that you get smooth image processing no matter which software you use.

PackshotCreator e360 and PackshotSpin come with a 360-degree turntable for capturing Flash animations of products. The software synchronizes the camera with the turntable in order to render high-quality images and smooth animations.

PackshotCreator's solutions are compatible with Windows 7. They successfully passed the "Windows 7 software logo" testing program. This logo certifies that PackshotCreator's softwares and drivers have been designed in accordance with Microsoft's security and reliability standards.

A sophisticated lightbox for an ideal lighting environment

Objects to be photographed or animated are placed inside the PackshotCreator lightbox, which has been designed to reproduce ideal daylight conditions (6,500K). In order to reproduce these conditions, the lightbox has been fitted with symmetrical fluorescent lamps on diffusers, thus ensuring continuous uniform lighting while neutralizing all cast shadows.

Image capturing is done with a digital camera and custom firmware. The camera is integrated into a ventilated compartment located in the top part of the lightbox and is pre-configured to capture photos of objects from different perspectives. The camera detachable and you can move it around to take side shots more easily and effectively.

The lightbox is also equipped with a white background for side shots, ensuring flawless visual rendering. It also has a transparent Plexiglass support to neutralize cast shadows. Color backgrounds can also be used for different effects.

System performance is also guaranteed. Testing the PackshotCreator 360 in real-life conditions has confirmed the ease and rapidity with which 360-degree animations can be created.**

A turntable that creates Flash animations of your products

 

The PackshotCreator 360 automated system consists of a turntable that is synchronized with the camera and software to capture 360-degree animations of your products. Users control the turntable directly from the software interface. In just a few clicks, you can determine the speed and size of your animations by selecting the number of desired shots for the 360-degree rotation (four to 200 photos per rotation).
